ABOUT
ME!
I was born in Tel Aviv Israel (I'm half Israeli half Egyptian) and at the age of 3, my family moved to LA in which we spent almost 5 years before returning to Israel.
Ever since I can remember myself, I loved the theater.
I was born to a family of artists- actors, musicians, and producers.
I remember walking around the backstage and watching the actors as they transform themselves into the characters on stage.
That moment off stage, just before entering a scene. MAGIC.
That’s when I fell in love with acting, and it’s been a love story ever since.
I had most of my theatrical training and career in Israel and then decided to move to NYC.
A year later, I opened my own theater company in Manhattan.
I love this city, the mixture of people in it, and that feeling you get here, that you are capable of creating anything in the world.
You just need the will.

"FST's production is well cast with Israeli actress Anat Cogan giving an immensely-poignant performance as Ayelet that is seared into recollection.”
-The Bradenton times-
"Anat Cogan as Ayelet seamlessly handles both Hebrew and English linguistically and emotionally.”
-Total Theatre-
"Cogan’s Ayelet is a live wire — and Cogan's performance is brilliantly expressive, Even if you can't speak Hebrew, you get what her character is trying to say, thanks to Cogan's gestures, body language and lightning flashes of emotion.”
-Your Observer-
Anat Cogan is youthfully beautiful, especially in her second act red costume. She makes Ayelet as emotionally involving as the playwright allows.
-Talking Broadway-
"Anat Cogan is perfect as the bereaved granddaughter, going out of her mind with worry. It’s a difficult role, which Cogan performs seamlessly."
-Sullivan County Democrat-
